Secondo la Nato i bombardamenti mirati su Kunduz in appoggio alle forze armate afgane si limiterebbero alle retrovie talebane proprio per evitare vittime civili. Ma ecco l’inevitabile “errore”. Medici senza frontiere ha denunciato che stanotte un raid aereo ha colpito il suo ospedale in città uccidendo almeno 19 persone tra cui operatori sanitari della struttura e pazienti (anche banìmbini). Almeno 37 i feriti tra cui 19 dello staff medico e paramedico di Msf. 5 sono gravi. Secondo la Nato “potrebbe” essersi trattato di un bombardamento americano che ha sbagliato obiettivo: “effetti collaterali”. Ma per Msf non si può parlare di incidente. Non si sa ancora tutto sulle altre vittime civili imputabili ai raid (e così per la battaglia di terra tra talebani e governo) ma questo primo effetto collaterale potrebbe benissimo non essere l’ultimo. L’ospedale è stato colpito più volte a partire dalle 2.10 di stamane (ora locale) “eppure tutti – ha detto Loris De Filippi di Msf Italia stamane a Radiopopolare – conoscono la sua posizione”.
