Hei, c’è un cane che ha morso un uomo
Ci sono notizie di serie A e notizie ritenute di serie B che non leggeremo mai anche se riguardano milioni di lavoratori indiani nello sciopero quantitativamente più grande del mondo. Milioni di bambini in fuga. Milioni di afgani sfollati. Milioni di risarcimenti che non arrivano. Oscurati dall’arrivo sul mercato del nuovo iPhone o dalla somiglianza con una star
Dice un vecchio adagio che se un cane morde un uomo non è una notizia ma solo un fatto logico e abitudinario. Se invece un uomo morde un cane allora c’è quell’elemento di “notiziabilità” che le fa meritare un titolo. Anche in prima pagina. Ma non è vero. Se, come dicono i manuali di giornalismo, una notizia è tale se è una novità, se è importante per il grande pubblico, curiosa, stimolante e numericamente consistente, allora c’è qualcosa che non va nell’informazione mainstream. Forse è sempre stato così, perché dietro alla pubblicazione di una “notizia”, c’è sempre una scelta umana, ma oggi può bastare la nascita dell’ultimo telefonino per oscurare 150 milioni di indiani in sciopero o la somiglianza con Angiolina Jolie per far apparire la giovane curda Asia Ramazan Antar la clone di una star e non una combattente che ha sacrificato la vita per difendere la sua gente. Moralismo? No, solo senso della realtà e… della notizia. Facciamo qualche esempio. Esempi che hanno – non sempre – scatenato di recente sane e furiose reazioni in Rete, nel mondo virtuale dove girano valanghe di bufale ma anche un’attenzione critica che prima non aveva canali per esprimersi….
