La strategia di mullah Omar

Oggi, anche se un po’ in ritardo, prenderemo in esame il messaggio di mullah Omar del 2 ottobre scorso per la celebrazione di Eid-ul-Odha ( o  Eid al-Adha, Sacrifico di Abramo). Ci sono alcuni passi significativi che vale la pena di analizzare. Dopo aver sciorinato la disfatto di Nato, americani e loro marionette (già abbiamo segnalato la posizione dei Talebani dopo la conclusione delle elezioni), il capo taleb fa alcune raccomandazioni: Focus on keeping unity among the Jihadic flanks; have good conduct with the common people; show them compassion and keep with them close relations.


La prima  raccomandazione riguarda l’unità del movimento (un problema reale), la seconda e terza il codice di condotta e la relazione con il popolo (anzi le “masse” come scritto nel documento) tanto che Omar ne fa discendere che the support of the general Muslims (people) is pivotal in gaining victory. In una parola non perdere il consenso, anzi favorirlo. E ancora Since the invaders have faced defeat, therefore, they are bent on flaring up various differences among the Afghan people, based on faction, ethnicity, geography and religion. Thus, they want to take revenge on the Afghans for the defeat. Our sagacious people and Mujahideen should try to foil this conspiracy of the enemy by maintaining their unity and utterly desist from actions posing harm to the unity of the Afghan Muslim people. Interessante l’accento sulle divisioni etniche geografiche e religiose: il nuovo volto dei mujahedin è dunque interreligioso e per il superamento delle istanze etniche e tribali. Un salto di qualità già visto nel tentativo di non essere percepiti some sola forza pashtun sunnita.

Poi Omar si sofferma sugli obiettivi della lotta: The aim and objective of our jihad against the invading Americans and their allies is to obtain the pleasure of Allah, the Almighty; to establish Islamic System; to put an end to the occupation and, without any discrimination, bring about prosperity and well-being for our suffering people. Un programma vasto ma, che come si evince, non invita a un jihad globale ma alla sola lotta di liberazione nazionale. Siamo, in buona sostanza, molto lontani dagli obiettivi del califfato dello Stato islamico.
La strategia: Give priority to the work of infiltration of the infiltrating Mujahideen in the military ranks of the Americans and their domestic supporters and to the allurement of their high-ranking security personnel. Pay exclusive attention to the infiltrating Mujahideen, to their families and children. Provide security to those who have left the ranks of the enemy besides maintaining possibility of an honorable life for them.  Da notare il peso che viene dato alla tattica di infiltrazione (quella che chiamiamo green on blue) ma anche il richiamo all’atteggiamento verso coloro che abbandonano il campo avverso.

Processo di pace o dialogo: ecco ancora Omar. It is to be mentioned that maintenance of contact and relations with all foreign and domestic sides falls under the sphere of the political office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. (Except that) no entity and person has right to initiate contact with any foreign and domestic political side or person, while posing as representative of the Islamic Emirate. Ribadisce il ruolo dell’Ufficio politico negli Eau e chiarisce che è l’unico deputato a trattare. Una messa in guardia per ex talebani ma anche per gruppi che sfuggono al controllo della shura di Quetta.
C‘è infine anche una parola sulle lotte dei mujahedin nel mondo: The unprecedented resistance of the Palestinian people in the month of Ramadan and Shawal and the winning of the war is a matter of pride for all Muslims. I ask Allah, the Almighty, to constantly keep them united and triumphant.
 The recurrent American intervention in the Islamic World is the result of the America’s wrong and failed policies which always prove harmful to all sides. Ma il riferimento principale resta la causa palestinese. Non una parola chiara su Siria e Irak dove pure infuria la battaglia. Per ora sul califfato Omar non prende posizione.Ossia, la prende. Decide di non parlarne proprio.
